Vanilla and forest floor on the nose with a strong earthy core of dark cassis and blackberry, firm acids means this can go a few more years.
Colour of garnet, with aromas of oak, cedar, black currant and cherry. It is somewhat balanced and has flavours of licorice anise, vanilla, cedar, raspberry and black currant with medium/full body. Juicy texture with a medium finish.

The robe is garnet red, with hints of ruby in the younger wines and a touch of orange in the older vintages. The nose is fruity, with ripe red fruit aromas dominated by blackcurrant and redcurrant, accented with roasted almond notes and occasional hints of mushrooms and undergrowth. The palate is well-rounded, full-bodied and precise, with velvety tannins paving the way for a finish is long and enjoyably complex.   An intense ruby red in color, the aromas of the wine are characterized by a powerful varietal expressiveness, with ample notes of red fruit, raspberries, and liquorice. On the palate, the wine immediately shows firm tannins with much polish and finesse as well, along with a balancing, tonic acidity and savory mineral notes which add length and persistence to the finish and aftertaste.

Reveals an intense colour with a complex and powerful nose. There are hints of cherry, liquorice and it is has a light woody touch. It is a rich, velvety wine that is very well structured. On the finish, notes of cocoa are revealed.

Red/black colour with no light edges. On the nose, layers of red and black fruits emerge with patience, especially plums and black cherries. The wine is deep and concentrated, with intense and focused oak, chocolate and cranberry, and notes of violets, coffee and liquorice. In the mouth it is complex and layered, with still-closed tannins that are very ripe and full. The mid palate is purely defined and delineated, and the finish precise and long.   Beautiful aromatics of plum, cherry, currants, coffee, cocoa and hints of allspice, fresh thyme, tobacco and forest floor. The body is laced with integrated tannins, great freshness and red fruit characteristics.   Very sleek and refined despite the obvious heft, featuring steeped red and black currant fruit studded with bergamot, blood orange, sweet tobacco and alder notes. The long, racy finish has a lovely echo of singed mesquite.
